It all began with the creation of the classic slip dress in the London living room of founder and designer Georgie Lily Rouse, born from her love of creativity and textiles. Lily Rouse is an extension of Georgie’s world, rooted in nature and her passion for living, lifestyle and precious, uncomplicated happiness in everyday life. Our philosophy is to create a timeless-infused capsule wardrobe for the modern woman. Pieces that hold sentimental value and an underlying story, bridging the gap between everyday chic, occasion wear and the modern bridal party.
Our silhouettes are inspired by 90’s minimalism, brought together with the finest silk, attention to detail and our signature colour palette.
We believe in slow fashion, adopting the ‘less is more’ philosophy and incorporating the timeless essence of our designs with the highest quality fabrics and attention to detail. We operate on a made-to-order basis, hand making each individual garment, allowing us to create a lasting relationship with our clients. With connection and interaction at the heart of everything we do, Lily Rouse is founded on the values of meeting and supporting local and talented businesses and creatives in South West London, forming the family with whom we work. We collaborate with those we meet on our journey, enabling us to tell the story of a design collective.
We want to celebrate women, femininity and most of all create a friendly atmosphere – we want to continue our journey with you and for every piece to carry on its unique story.
ABOUT GEORGIE LILY ROUSE

Growing up in Lymington, a small coastal town in the heart of the New Forest, Georgie’s inspiration has always stemmed from nature, family and the simplicity of everyday life and natural surroundings.
Her fascination with texture and movement soon developed into her love for textiles, later exploring this fascination in tandem with her appreciation of the female form. These creative desires manifested in her acclaimed final collection from one of the world most prestigious fashion schools, which utilised lace and other technical, feminine fabrics to accentuate and pronounce natural beauty. Georgie’s years of experience have given her an intimate understanding of the shape and structure of the female form, incorporating design, intricate tailoring and attention to detail into her designs.
